Our Retort Products

Spray retorts has a high-volume pump with an array of spray nozzles strategically located to provide complete load coverage and create even temperature distribution in both heating and cooling.

Steam is directly injected in the bottom of the retort for fast and uniform come-up. Water sprays running over the entire shell length intensely mix the steam and water and create a homogeneous temperature distribution that results in a uniform process throughout the retort. Indirect cooling via a plate heat exchanger saves water and eliminates the secondary contamination.

The water spray retorts also have a perfect pressure control during the whole process cycle, the pressure is constantly adjusted to adapt to the changing pressure inside product.

The whole sterilization process controlled by PLC based control system. Via the PLC control, the temperature difference of thermal distribution is limited within ± 0.5°C.

Why Choose Our Water Spray Retort

Our water spray retort systems feature high-volume pumps with strategically located spray nozzles that ensure complete load coverage and uniform temperature distribution. Water sprays running over the entire shell length intensely mix steam and water, creating a homogeneous temperature distribution. The PLC-based control system maintains temperature accuracy within ±0.5°C throughout the entire sterilization process.

  • High-volume pump with strategic spray nozzles
  • PLC-based precision control system
  • Perfect pressure control during process
  • Homogeneous temperature distribution
  • Reduced process time
  • Quick and Efficient heat distribution
  • Bi color level Gauge with Transmitter
  • Best in class design and construction
  • Micro cooling

Everything you need to know about Water Spray Retort

A Water Spray Retort is a sterilization system that uses a high-volume pump with strategically located spray nozzles to provide complete load coverage and create even temperature distribution in both heating and cooling phases. Water sprays running over the entire shell length mix steam and water for uniform processing.

The system uses a PLC-based control system that maintains temperature accuracy within ± 0.5°C throughout the entire sterilization process. Water sprays running over the entire shell length intensely mix steam and water, creating a homogeneous temperature distribution for uniform processing.

The water spray retort has a high level of flexibility and can adapt to all types of packaging including cans, retort pouches, PP bottles, and PP trays. This versatility makes it suitable for various food processing applications.

Due to the reduced number of mechanical parts in the water spray retort design, there are fewer mechanical breakdowns. This results in lower maintenance costs and increased reliability compared to traditional retort systems.

The system uses indirect cooling via a plate heat exchanger, which saves water and eliminates the risk of secondary contamination. This efficient cooling method ensures rapid and uniform cooling of processed products.
